Use this plugin to show how much money Ron Paul has raised today, in your Yahoo Messenger status message (updates every minute). (I wrote this on the eve of November 5th).
The data is fetched from http://www.ashlux.com/rp-donations/getdata.php
Requires: Yahoo Messenger version 8.0 or above
How to install
- Find the plugins folder of your Yahoo Messenger, usually C:\Program Files\Yahoo!\Messenger\Plugin
- Check if there is a folder named "Test" in that folder. If not, create it.
- Copy ContentTab.zip (http://ronpaul-yahoo-status.googlecode.com/files/ContentTab-1.0.zip) to this "Test" folder and unzip it (Choose the "extract here" option in Winzip etc).
- Login to Yahoo Messenger (if not already done), and change status message to Custom. (Messenger -> My Status -> Custom).
- In the Yahoo Messenger menubar, open the "Action" menu and click on "Load Test Plug-in".
Wait for 60 seconds. Your status message will be regularly updated to "$xxxx raised by Ron Paul today".
How to uninstall
- Delete the ContentTab folder in the "Test" folder within the "Plugin" folder of your Yahoo Messenger, usually C:\Program Files\Yahoo!\Messenger\Plugin\
