RobotQt - Robot Simulation¶
What is RobotQt?¶
It's a generic robotics simulation software.
Do you like robotics? Do you have your own robotic project? Wanna test it, simulate? Well, RobotQt is just for you!
But if you are newbie to robotics? Do you wanna learn how a robot works and see it working? Yep, RobotQt is just for you too!
There are three characteristic in RobotQt:
- Simulate any robot with Lua or Python
- Hability to create any kind of Sensor
- Than, you can use it to create your own specific robot as a plugin
Even better, you can share your Robot or Sensor to the community! That's the open-source spirit =)
RobotQt is designed to run on Windows, Linux and Mac OS. Using Qt as its main framework.
Objectives¶
This projects seeks to increase the access from new users to robotic. And simulates for those that already uses for their academic projects, personal, etc.
The main goal of the project is to make a trustble robotic simulation without any hardware or the robot itself.

RobotQt is designed by Felipe Ferreri Tonello, an usual undergraduate guy from São José dos Campos, Brazil, who likes engineering, programming, music and is totally in love for his girlfriend, Rafaela.
