Open Source Robobuilder Firmware Project

There are a now three active projects. All are open source firmware mods for Robobuilder humanoid robot :

  • BASIC - A micro BASIC environment for autonomous control (beta stable)
  • DCMP - direct control mode plus - for remote control of Robobuilder from a PC (beta stable)
  • Femto - A micro lisp environment for autonomous control (pre-alpha)

  • BasicClient (v269) - Updated to include new BASIC features, also bug fixes to label handling, and a new simulator screen that works with basic.exe to aid program debugging. Support for constants.
  • Basic (242) - New commands including I2CI and I2CO for I2C comms, LIGHTS, and STEP. windows build also available.
  • Basic (224) - Version support a range of built in actions (19) easily available in program or immediate mode via RUN command. See examples for details. Other new features include playing sounds, change LEDs on servo and synchronous servo moves.
  • DCMP (v165) - Support for sound based sampling
