Introduction
Ontology evokes a myriad of responses - from eye-rolling to fanatic enthusiasm. The goal of this page is to flesh out what people expect from an RNA ontology, so that we can better understand general and thought provoking requirements while identifying what an ontology can capture today, what still requires research and development in terms of knowledge representation languages and systems, and what is better handled at the application level.
