Information on how to contribute to the RFortran Project
Documention and WikiWe actively encourage contributions from people to improve our documentation. If you notice any errors or omissions in the RFortran wiki or documention please let us know. Anybody can sign-in (requires a Google account) and leave a comment at the bottom of each Wiki page. Project members can edit Wiki pages directly. Source CodeIf you notice a bug in the source code or have a great idea for a feature submit an issue. Before doing this please check the FAQ and the current issues list to ensure the bug or feature hasn't already been reported. Discussion ForumsThere are currently two google group discussion forms for RFortran: RFortran-users - for users to receive notifications of updates and post discussions on how to use RFortran RFortran-developers - for the RFortran development team to discuss development of RFortran Submitting Extensions to Rfortran FunctionalityIf you have extended RFortran yourself and would like to have your changes incorporated into the code base please email us or notify us through the issue tracker. Submitting Case Study Application of RFortranWe are interested to know where RFortran is being used. Please let us know and we will keep a list of case studies here. If you have weblinks to your project or screen shots we would be happy to post these too. Project MembershipProject members are an active part of the RFortran development team. They can commit code to the source repository and contribute/edit wiki pages. Please contact the project owners, if you with to be a project member. It is recommended to become involved in the Rfortran-users google group to demonstrate your interest prior to asking to be a project member. | |
