Introduction

Related Web Results is a feature that uses the XML output of the CSBE, in combination with javascript, to provide results for the users query from a CSBE in addition to the standard GSA results.

==> Miniumum Requirements:

• GSA v4.6.4.G70 or higher.
• CSBE as you must be able to get XML output from it.
• Javascript must be enabled on the users browser.
• J2EE application server supporting servlets and JRE 1.4 or later
• JDK 1.4 or later, to rebuild the servlets and WAR file.

Related Web Results is a feature that uses the XML output of the CSBE, in combination with javascript, to provide results for the users query from a CSBE in addition to the standard GSA results.

Here is the data flow for the Related Web Results:

1. Query is submitted to GSA.
2. Results are returned and XSLT is applied.
3. JSON query for related results is submitted to XML2JSONProxy.
4. XML2JSONProxy takes the passed parameters and submits them to the appropriate CSBE.
5. XML is returned to the XML2JSONProxy and converted into JSON.
6. JSON is returned to the GSA, parsed, and the CSBE related results are displayed.

Functions:

- cseSetProxy(proxyURL)

• Set the proxyURL. This URL will point to the XML2JSONProxy/index.jsp within the app server where it has been placed.

- cseSetTitle(title)

• Set the title to be displayed for the related web results.

- cseSetMoreLabel(label)

• Set the label to be displayed for the related web results more link.

- cseSetMaxResults(maxResults)

• Set the maximum number of results to be returned by the related web results.

- cseSetHost(host)

• Set the host to use to get the related web results.

- cseSetPort(port)

• Set the port to use to get the related web results.

- cseSetType(type)

• Set the type to use to get the related web results. Valid values are http and https

- cseSetApp(app)

• Set the app to use to get the related web results. The only valid value is search.

- cseSetCX(cx)

• Set the CSBE code to use to get the related web results.

- cseSetClient(client)

• Set the CSBE client to use to get the related web results.
