not a defect, but an enhancement request: i most commonly configure Reggy to use PCRE, but occasionally i switch over to POSIX basic or extended RE. a few times now i've forgotten to switch back, and then the next time i fire up Reggy i am baffled by straightforward Perl regular expressions that just don't match anything :) if it's not too much trouble, please add the option to have Reggy display the selected regular expression engine down in the status bar. many thanks, -steve |

Thanks for the idea Steve. I actually think this will be moot in version 2, that hopefully will be coming around soon. Version 2 will be more "document-based" and allow you to change your settings per-document (a regular expression and testing string), including the engine.
