We moved to Redis.io!

If the new redis master requires a password how would that be handled with the slaveof command? Or do slaves not need to authenticate?

trying to graph this shows some ambiguity about whether the current dataset is discarded. i suspect the ambiguous answers are all "yes, discard the dataset" but as a new user it's not clear.
