Description
Recorder is a graphical frontend of cdrkit/cdrtools, cdrdao, mkisofs and growisofs. It aims to be simple and easy to use, free of large configurations and useless options, following the KISS principle and offering a disc burning of quality, nothing more.
Depends on:
- pygtk (code language)
- gettext (translations)
- cdrkit or cdrtools (data and audio CD)
- dvd+rw-tools (data and video DVD)
- coreutils (md5)
- mpg123 and vorbis-tools (mp3 and ogg files on audio CD)
- cdrdao and vcdimager (vcd/svcd)
It's not obligatory to install all dependencies. If you don't want to burn ogg files don't install vorbis-tools... the same with cdrdao, vcdimager, dvd+rw-tools, mpg123...
Features
You can burn data (CD/DVD), audio (CD), video (DVD, VCD and SVCD), iso images (CD/DVD). Create iso images to burn later and check integrity of burned files with md5sum.
