What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Login to gmail 2. Select a mail to view 3. Select text to speed read What is the expected output? What do you see instead? If display automatically is set, the reading pane should pop up. If it is not, then pressing the R key should bring it up. Nothing happens in either case. What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? 0.0.4 with the progress bar and width fixes. Please provide any additional information below. The mouse up event doesn't seem to happen. Gmail must override it preventing Reasy from detecting selections. This is probably what is happening with the key press event too. |

As a workaround, can the reasy functionality be called via a bookmarklet? I tried 'javascript:reasySelect()' in my url line and got "reasySelect is not defined" in the javascript error console. I don't know enough about javascript and firefox extensions to figure this out. Any ideas? |

That is a brilliant idea, but as far as I can see Javascript run in the address bar is restricted to fucntion defined in the context of the page. I have seen a suggestion to make reasy an item on the right-click menu, which I think will help get round these problems.
