News 11/14/2009: I was surprised to find a short review about Qmmander already although I didn't announced it anywhere myself...thanks to the author! I guess I have to speed up development now ;) Read review...
Update 10/25/2009: Qmmander v0.1.0 Alpha 3 released!
Qmmander is an open source filemanager with splitscreen filehandling like the widely known "Norton Commander" which was likely the force behind the development of all the filemanagers out there with a "Commander" in their names. Qmmander is written in C++ and uses Qt, a cross-platform application and GUI framework from Nokia.
At the moment Qmmander runs only on windows and has just basic functionality and a lot of bugs. So there's a bunch of serious coding sessions lying ahead before the Qmmander will set sails....
