Q is an Apache Maven plugin for Eclipse that will let you use Maven 2 from the Eclipse IDE

This plugin better integrates the development and building processes by bringing Maven into the Integrated Development Environment (IDE).

May 5th, 2008: Q4E 0.6.1 has been released

This is an bugfix release increasing the import speed and solving a problem with duplicate entries in WTP development.

April 14th, 2008: Q4E 0.6.0 has been released

At last, the long awaited WTP support is present on a public release. Enhanced support for resource processing and fine-grained control of the incremental builds is also supported, along with dependency management features available right from your favorite dependency analysis view.

Q4E has been proposed as a project to the Eclipse Foundation

A new project proposal has been approved at the Eclipse Foundation to add Q4E as an official Eclipse project.

The proposal is called Eclipse Integration for Apache Maven (Eclipse IAM) and is the first step to become a project.

Over the next month discussions about the creation will happen in the newsgroup at (you need to register)

The discussions will have as objective gathering the community interested in having the project in the Eclipse Foundation and finding two mentors from the Eclipse Architecture Council

When ready, we can go through the creation review process.
