Introduction

Welcome to the pypastset wiki.

PastSet is a tuple-based distributed shared memory system similar to Linda and TSpaces. This project implements PastSet in Python for portability and ease of use. The communication is based on Pyro to keep the PastSet implementation small with a stable and well tested communication base.

Basic installation and use instructions are available in the README and a more thorough introduction to PastSet and pyPastSet is available in the Programming with Python PastSet document.
