How to use other Wikis

Easy... once you have the Simple English Wikipedia working, simply download the index you want. Then download the archive from Wikipedia (there should be a file inside the Index zip telling you where to get it.

UNZIP the contents of the index zip file to a newly created directory on your flash card, and then COPY the actualy wiki archive (bz2) to that same directory. You should then have 4 files, plus maybe that little text file that says where to get wiki archive.

Now just edit the "datafile.txt" file in the wiki directory and make it point to the main Wikipedia archive file. For example, if you put the files in a directory called "enwikidata" that resides on the same level as your "wiki" directory. You would create "datafile.txt" with one line in it: "../enwikidata/enwiki-20080312-pages-articles.xml.bz2"
