Help to translate PyChess for your language using Rosetta
IntrodutionThis page intents to help people translating PyChess for their native language through a service named Launchpad Rosetta. Getting startedPychess page in Rosetta is this https://launchpad.net/pychess. In this page contains a button called "Help translate" where it will see the status of current translations. To register a new language in Launchpad, you'll need a Launchpad account. Go to https://launchpad.net/+login and enter your e-mail adress. After seconds you will receive an e-mail with a link to apply the registration. After, select your preferred language. For more information you can make a Launchpad Tour. Upload your translate into RosettaIf you've done a translation in another aplication, like poedit, you can upload its contents to Launchpad. Inside translate page in your language select, go to in "Action" menu and click in "Upload a file", search .po file in your computer and click in "Upload". Review the translationIf there are translateable strings in PyChess you are not sure how to translate, you can either ask on the mailing list, or download you translation to test how it fits in PyChess. Inside the translatÃon page in your language select, go to in "Action" menu and click "Download". Select the format: .MO and click "Confirm Download". Some time later, you will receive an email with the chosen archive. If you have downloaded the PyChess sources, and the mo file is called fr_FR.mo, you must place the file in pychess-read-only/lang/fr_FR/LC_MESSAGES/ .
