I think it could be a great idea whether Pwytter supports identica microblogging platform ! Identica is an open service for distributed micromessages as Twitter which respect the open standards of OpenMicroBlogging. I don't know what could be the better and simpler way, adding Identica support to pwytter or create a fork specifically for identica service. Let me know what you think about it. Kind regards. |

So even if it will be tantalising to speak in french, I wanna call your attention to this dent/twitt : http://identi.ca/notice/10142795. After investigation I found this package (http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=30208) which greatly inspired me to do the attached file. This is basically the twitter.py from twclient directory I rename in identica.py and where I replaced all twitter.com by its equivalent identi.ca/api and "twitter." by "identica." and finally all remaining twitter word by identica. So what do you think about that, can it profit to your project ?
