• I need something cross platform (linux, os x, windows) so

am starting a new project that is implemented in java

• Also as a result of #1 I'd rather start fresh than continue removing code from Stickies
• It will do the same thing, a drawer note that can sync to S3.

Based on Stickies for Windows

• it has the same prerequisites (.NET framework)
• provides new auto hide drawer style note

It...

• needs polish, but gets the job done for the most part
• is similar to sidenote for the Mac
• hides/shows by moving mouse into/out of app
• allows double clicking anywhere inside the app to disable/enable hiding
• allows resizing. 1) disable hiding (see above) 2) grab leftmost edge and drag

Features in work...

• allow pinning to any side of the screen, not just limited to right side
• existing code base allows multiple notes via multiple windows. Will limit to a single window.
• allow single window multiple note capability (also similar to sidenote) where access/changing is provided by a drop down box
• provide an installer. Need to re-brand and provide proper attribution to Stickies first.
