What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. page created with tag "[pwaplusphp]"

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
1. i should see the list of all my public and unlisted albums

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1. WP 2.9.2 (DE version) with PWA+PHP 0.3

According to the config page the token was generated and stored
successfully. Not sure if the token should have been displayed at some
point during the first initial setup steps. It wasn't.
When creating a page with "[pwaplusphp]" the only result i see is the page
with title and "Gallery" and "photos in albums". Nothing more.

What could be wrong? Even though my gmail address ends with "",
my picasaweb URL is german, "". Could that be
the show stopper?

I think the URL is probably not an issue. Let's test if the demo page can display
your public albums to determine whether the problem is on your end or within the
PWA+PHP code.

Create a public picasa album via the website with at least one photo and then go to:

Enter your picasa username in the box and click the Go button. What do you see?

Thanks for your quick response!

Works like charming! On the demo page i see my (only) public album with its 3 photos.

Before creating this public album i haven't had a single public album, but only
unlisted albums (around 200 i think).

When i now preview the newly created "[pwaplusphp]" page in my wordpress blog, i
still don't see any albums, neither unlisted, nor the public album.
My humble understanding tells me there's something wrong with the communication
between my wordpress blog and picasaweb.

Would it be an idea to set up PWA+PHP on my blog from scratch, and if so, how would i
get the initial steps to show up again?

You can start from scratch by removing the plugin and re-installing it in the
Wordpress admin panel. As you said, there may be a communication issue between your
server and the Picasa servers. Another user had a similar issue and he fixed it in
his server control panel. Here is his explanation:

I enable [server-to-server communication] in the Altervista control panel (altersito
---> risorse & upgrade ---> server to server). There was only to send an sms to a
phone number (at the normal costs of an sms to a Vodafone mobile phone): probably it
was for legal problems. In that way, for they Italian law, they can identify me by
the phone number (and the relative identity card).

There may be something similar you need to enable. Let me know how it goes...

I use the "Members Only" to lock up the WP blog for anonymous visitors. Viewing posts
and pages requires a login. I thought this "Members Only" plugin might avoid some
server-to-server communication. But deactivating the plugin didnt help.

During the another setup of your plugin i got the attached screen. disregarding the
fact that the actual token is not displayed, the page led me to another plugin that i
use: goldengate. during the pwa-php setup i suddenly got refered to goldengate.
checking goldengate briefly: it uses the token thing as well. i removed the
goldengate plugin, reinstalled your plugin and suddenly it works!:-)

the question now of course would be, is it possible to use both plugins (pwa-php and
goldengate) at the same time?

Would appreciate your help on this.
My public albums are all showing after installation of PWA, however when I click on them, I get this:

Not Found

The requested URL /&album=EventOmanConference was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Can you help?
Thank you

What version and where are you clicking, the thumbnail or the text link? Can you shoot me a link to the page?

Not sure if this thread is still open, but I have the same problem.
I see all my albums, but when I click an album I get same error message.
"The requested URL /&album=USA2006 was not found on this server."
Please advise.

BTW.... I just installed PWA+PHP v.0.9.3 from within the WP admin panel.

What permalink settings are you using within WP?
Mar 7, 2011
Not using any permalink as far as I know. Kind of new to WP :-)
Do I need to make any permalink settings?

Check Settings -> Permalinks. There's a known issue with the album links if default permalinks, i.e. The workaround is to enable any other option on the permalink settings page.
