Mission

We want to:

• make PuTTY more convenient and usable
• add more features
• make the development process more open

Unlike the original PuTTY, PuTTY+ is going to incorporate all possible useful features, at the expense of allowing it to grow somewhat bigger in size.

Features

Currently we integrated the patches of PuTTY Tray project (see the Links), namely:

• Minimize to the system tray (on CTRL+minimize, always or directly on startup)
• Customizable (tray) icon
• Blink tray icon when a bell signal is received
• Configurable window transparency
• URL hyperlinking
• Reconnect when PC wakes up from stand-by

We made the following changes ourself:

• Rearranged settings to make them more convenient
• Automatic reconnection when connection is dropped
• Ability to store your password (in plain text!) in the session config

Only the putty.exe file is provided currently. Installer will follow some day.

You can replace your putty.exe from the original PuTTY installation with our modified putty.exe.
