I gone trough these pages.But I am unable to understand how can I do it. What is the basic knowledge required to use pubsubhubbub and host a own hub? Could any one help me? Thank you !

All I can say is it is very easy to build one. And all you require apart from a computer & internet is a day of time and your willingness to build.

I think there is a PHP implementation in Zend Framework: http://framework.zend.com/manual/en/zend.feed.pubsubhubbub.introduction.html

For Drupal the feeds module can import from pubsubhubbub
