Introduction

For the most part, PsyMP3 is a Wine-friendly application. However, on occasion, there are some issues with it. Here's some quick tips to get it working

First, start Winecfg.

Secondly, add an override for PsyMP3. Click "Add Application..." and select the PsyMP3 executable like so:

Select the psymp3.exe override. Set the Windows version to Windows XP.

Go to the Audio tab. Make sure that the psymp3.exe title still appears in the titlebar. Set the DirectSound Hardware Acceleration to "Emulation".

And there you have it! PsyMP3 should now work under FreeBSD.
