Kind of hard to promote if it's not going to work with Yahoo, however. I will watch for Proteus's resurrection, and will move back when and if it lives again. I really liked this IM client, and, as I've said, I did turn a lot of people here at work onto it. Thanks for all the work you put into it. If you have the keys, you might put a note on the front door of proteusx.org about not working with Yahoo and ICQ, and maybe soliciting help from the developer community. So even the services which still work, are no longer available. I think the two yahoo accounts generating the errors quickly together at login are causing the problem, but the app doesn't give me enough time to disable the accounts. No matter, disabling the account is not an acceptable work around for me. Since the team seems to no longer support the Proteus client (this bug has been idle for 3 months), I guess I'll have to switch to another client. Proteus quits on me now. Yesterday, I kept getting kicked out, but after 15-20 connect attempts, it finally let me stay connected. It's going through the same loop for me again right now. May very well be a localized issue.
