I'm just getting started with PrimeFaces? and certainly want to buy the Users Guide but when will a 3.0 guide be available ? If I buy the current one, will I have to buy the new one 6 months from now or whenever it's made available ?

Looking at the issues, some now carry a new Milestone 4 (3.0.M4) as target version. Is this a new Milestone before the Release Candidate comes out?

It seems that Prime Technology doesn't manage to keep the Roadmap up to date :-) From their blog (2011-10-31):

M4 is the last milestone of 3.0 and next version is 3.0.RC1 followed by 3.0 final. Our estimate is early december for the 3.0.RC1 release.
