This has fixed my crashing issue booting the forwarder. Also this has fixed 
another 
crashing issue lauching the Forwarding from inside Priiloader.

im not a pirate nor a backup user (ill use my own discs thank you) nor do i use

note that this is NOT an installer but the priiloader dol that gets loaded on 
startup
so please disable all reset/startup/shutdown settings or set them to priiloader
before booting the doll

What was changed about the above forwarder that makes it work with priiloader?

worked
in priiloader 0.1, 0.2, rev32 and (just tested) rev43.

Unfortunate enough, I'm not that lucky for what's configurable usb loader's
concerned. I get that very same black screen there (on 0.2, rev32 and rev43).

My settings: system 4.0 (PAL), HBC 1.0.6 and a bit of trucha-patched IOS'es.
configurable usb loader is v0.50("bugfix") and as far as the readme goes, 
installed
in the correct folder.

for me it is the biggest issue in priiloader, cause all modded wii's are setup 
to
start with usbloader

another issue already in 0.29(need to be created??)
if set to autoboot installed file
and return to preeloader (i assume autoboot will result into same)
the wii menu button in the laoder will take you to usbloader again (but for the
moent..it does not work in priiloader :) so no thoughts about this, until this 
issue
has been fixed)

downloaded it, compared to official usbloader gx forwarder...different
so installed it..and et voilá it works
so it will be nice to know what has been changed so all other forwarder can be
modified same way!

1) the "return to " boots usbloader GX was ------A BUG OF 0.29------ i dont

Let's see...I did some more fingling, and got some interesting results.

But first off...to avoid any confusions (comment 12): I'm talking about 2 
different
usb-loaders. USB loader GX's forwarder is the one I've always used and that 
does work
for me. Unfortunate enough, I'm not so sure of the link I mentioned (I 
originally
downloaded my working forwarder program from wii-media.nl...and that site is 
down for
a while, now). I guess it's the same one that is mentioned in post #1.

The other program I was talking about was configurable USB loader. It uses a
different forwarder (http://sharebee.com/a17e6c12)...one that doesn't work well 
with
preloader.


Now for the interesting stuff: I did some testing, and found out that it must 
be the
forwarder from configurable USB loader which must be faulty.
Reason: I renamed the folder "SD:\apps\USBLoader" (default path of configurable 
usb
loader) into "SD:\apps\usbloader_gx" (default path of USB loader GX), and 
tested some
things with the (working) forwarder of usbloader GX.
Result: it loads configurable usb loader without any problem whatsoever
(well...except that it shows the wrong logo at the start). This goes for rev32, 
43
and 30M (the one posted in post 7).

Or, in summary: there was nothing wrong with priiloader.


...and now, while typing, I realise this thread is originally about usb loader 
CFG's
original forwarder (oops). Okay...my bad. I'll make it up to you by quickly 
testing
that old forwarder with rev30M (the nr. 3) request from post 15)

Sorry. That "USB_Loader_GX-UNEO_Forwarder" dol still black screens at rev30M 
(and
rev43 as well).

its something neither of use can do anything about. well, no thats not right
priiloader grows and becomes bigger in size. that causes it to use more memory
(sadly). this also means that it could stop some dols to load. the best way 
would be
for me to load shit in mem2 or forwards to load themselfs in mem2 and load the 
dol
its forwarding to into mem1

i already have written that the above posted usblaoder gx forwarder works, and 
more
poeple did that

but the original forwarders dont do work

so we need to know what has changed in the linked one above..
cause all other usbloaders have different folders, and there shall be also 
working
boot forwarders, sint it?

shoot me if I missed something, but...
The linked forwarder works for me (thanks) with priiloader, but my original 
USBLGX
loader worked BEAUTIFULLY with Preloader 0.29. The linked one shows onscreen 
text
while booting into USBLGX (..IOS 236 not found, using 36..etc). Not real 
"clean".

Any way around this? Can I GO BACK to Preloader 0.29? Thank you!

yes you can go back to preloader 0.29 but i fail to see why you'd want to use 
the old
one if the new one works with priiloader 0.3.

also, starting the upcoming 0.4 old forwarders should work again

Well, the forwarder works, but not "nicely" (error text onscreen during 
autoboot).

I have just reinstalled Preloader 0.29, and it's nice and smooth. What exactly 
am I
missing in Priiloader?
