The PPPeople PPPowered project looks to create an Amazon-like "If you like this person, you may like these people" interface for the staff at the University of York.

It will be based on...

• Generic data crawled from an existing web site and then processed using OpenCalais
• Data that people enter themselves such as different social media tools like Twitter, Delicious etc.
• An integration of any data gathered with data from dbpedia, citeulike, citeseer, mendeley etc.
