How you can help
How can I help?During the development of PockeTwit, I've had several users who were so excited with the application that they wanted to contribute in some way. There are several things users can do to show their appreciation of the product: Provide FeedbackI love to hear from the users and welcome all comments and critiques. Please feel free to send an @reply to @PockeTwitDev on either Twitter or Identi.ca telling me what you think! SponsorshipSome users have expressed an interest in making a token financial donationion to the project. Rather than simply accepting donations, I've set up a "Sponsor" system in the application. Anyone who makes a PayPal donation may have their account listed in the Contributors section of the application. Users of PockeTwit will see your sponsorship as an important contribution to the development of the application and will be able to easily contact/follow you if they like. You can apply for sponsorship by donating throught the Paypal button below. Then please send an email to pocketwitdev@gmail.com listing your twitter username if you would like to be listed in the program as a Sponsor. And of course you may keep your donation anonymous if you prefer. CodePockeTwit is open-source and I gladly take code contributions from those who are able and willing. Send me an email at pocketwitdev@gmail.com with your ideas and we can work out how best to get your code integrated into the application! |

Just installed it... initial impression... looks fantastic!! good job
Only the best twitter app for WinMo?! Congratulations ! o/
great app! can you migrate this to a Yammer application?
I am using the software on my new htc Touch 3G and am extremely pleased with it.
However, I have one problem - it is using Opera to open URL links rather than Internet Explorer and this returns a network error so I'm unable to effect and see the links.
This may be a problem with my Mobile settings rather than the software - do you have any ideas?
PockeTwit? simply tells the operating system to launch a URL -- it does nothing to specify how the OS will handle that. By default, windows mobile knows to handle any URLs by opening PocketIE and loading it there. The operating system uses the registry to determine how to handle URLs, described at http://code.google.com/p/pocketwit/wiki/ResetDefaultBrowser
Opera replaces some of those registry keys so that the operating system will use it to launch URLs rather than PocketIE. But I'm not entirely sure why this is a problem for your machine -- why does Opera return a network error?
Fantastic app! Thanks!
Noticed a couple of things, hopefully it helps... I'm running a Windows Mobile 6.1 touchscreen phone.
When the app is loaded to the device, I'm unable to select pictures stored on the storage card to send with Twitpic. This is not an issue when the app is loaded on the storage card though.
Also, I often see a blank screen when starting the app, but this is easily fixed by clicking on @foobar Timeline, followed by Refresh Friends Timeline.
Keep up the good work... donation coming your way!
Thanks for the most awsome WinMo? Twitter application ever! I've used other WinMo? Twitter apps and NOTHING compares to the ease of use, features and general awesomness of PockeTwit?. Today's update (3/28/09) is just plain cool!
Thanks for the great work, I also donated to the PockeTwit? cause because I can't wait to see what you come up with next!
@VMdoug
Thanks for the great app.
any possibility of including microblogging accounts from www.shoutem.com?
Version .70 is a winner for me, it works on my moto q global (AT&T) I set the avatars to low quality in case high quality slows things down. I also set the max messages up to about 150. I follow almost 400 people and have had over 100 msgs backed up. I would like to see a way or instructions on how to keep it from using too many resources and I would like it if when you clicked on a link it could ask if you want to use sqweezer I keep turning it on and off.

I have been using Pocket Twit for a year on the same phone(Samsung i760). it has worked great until last week when I started getting a communication error. I have version 70 and it was working fine then one day it stopped. uninstalled and reinstalled with no luck. I have done many searches for a solution with no luck. no other programs or updates were added to the phone to cause this. any suggestions, ideas would be much appreciated as I love this app and I want to use it again...especially since PAX is only about 4.5 months away(great usage at PAX).
Just installed Pocket Twit and it works Excellent piece of software. No problems switching between landscape and portrait video modes. Running on HTC Universal w/ Windows Mobile 6.1
Installed, love it, donated. Thanks!
Have tried a number of Twitter apps for Windows Mobile but none are as feature rich and with such an easy and clear UI. Love the ability to use groups and have those groups removed to their own timelines which is extremely useful. Donating
I have install it ans use it for age. I'm really in love with it but one day comes the problem. I turn on my o2 and run pocketwit like ever but this time it appears text box said "an unexpected error has occured and Pocketwit must shut down" and I cannot post my update for days now. what can I do for such problem. I really love this fantastic program and still want to use it on and on.
I have try to install and uninstall several time but that doesn't work, not at all!
Creo que es una aplicación expectacular debido a sus funcionalidades, eldesarroyo de Pocketwit es la solución para una pocket pc ,, gracias
