|Issue 350:||Two minor problems with new "File Changed" dialog|
|1 person starred this issue and may be notified of changes.||Back to list|
What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Open a file. 2. Modify/touch the file outside of PN2. 3. Switch back to PN2 so that the "File Changed" dialog appears. What is the expected output? What do you see instead? Now that the dialog is "Vista-style" (which apparently means non-modal), you can click in the PN2 window, even when the "File Changed" dialog is displayed. Doing this results in another (identical) dialog being opened. In fact, you can repeatedly click on the main PN2 window and get another dialog every time. The other minor problem is that the dialog is a bit too short - the bottom of the checkbox gets cut off. What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? 22.214.171.1246-devel on Windows XP Please provide any additional information below. I'm attaching a screenshot showing the clipping of the checkbox.

I think the focus issue is fixed now, and I can't reproduce the clipped checkbox on my system, but that may be a difference between Win7 and XP - is that still happening? To confirm, the Vista-style dialog isn't about being stateless it's about the words on the dialog being more meaningful and the provision of checkboxes and other controls when desirable.

As of version 126.96.36.1990-dizzy (on Windows XP), the focus issue is fixed, but the slight clipping problem (as shown in the screenshot above) remains.
