Sean McKean of Gamechild Software presentspitch perfectan audio demoSelect notes from the chromatic scale by mouse-clicking on a circular image displayed on the screen. The note pitch and volume both change in real time as the mouse is moved. Two modes allow just chromatic notes, or off-key notes in between as well. Version 0.2b adds the ability to chord notes together; thanks to David Cole for the idea. v0.3 has the ability to render .wav files at varying pitches, with three sample files included (obtained from various places on the internet). Binary version (if you are on MS Windows): Click on the link titled "pitch perfect x.x.x binary.zip" on the right of this page to download the stand-alone version of this program. This version should run without any need of external dependencies, unless your version of Windows is missing important DLL files. Note: The binary version tends to be several times larger than the source version. Source version: The following programming language and packages are required to run the source code: Python >= v2.6.6, < v3.0 (http://www.python.org/) pygame >= v1.9.1 (http://www.pygame.org/) numpy >= v1.3.0 (http://numpy.scipy.org/) This program is highly experimental, so testing and (as always) feedback are welcome.
