issue 17 (stopped working recently) reported by tri...@gmail.com   -   What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. start twitter 2. let it run 3. status remains "Twitter connecting" What is the expected output? What do you see instead? Twitter connects and displays status What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? 0.4 on Ubuntu 9.04 Please provide any additional information below. It worked for several weeks, then stopped working at the same time on 2 machines of mine... one at work, one at home.

issue 8 (Not actually setting the status message server-side.) commented on by andrew.conkling   -   I'm not sure this isn't a pidgin-twitterstatus bug. Pidgin-identica-status works just fine for me, but pidgin-twitterstatus never does. At the moment, it's not even putting the status into the Pidgin status area. I've attached a screenshot of the problem as Pidgin shows it, and a log file of all Twitter-related messages, starting with me enabling the plugin and letting it update a few times. Let me know if I'm not doing something right.

issue 16 (Enable access to private feeds.) reported by sphyrz   -   I remember making this change to an older version of the Plugin but at great time expense due to my lack of knowledge of Perl. I may have time too look at it again in the future but I believe this is an easy enhancement for anyone with sufficient Perl knowledge to implement. You just need to authenticate your request to the API server with the username and password which are already stored as preferences.

issue 7 (Enhancement: Separate SavedStatus) commented on by andyetitmoves   -   The plugin now stores status changes to the 'Twitter' status. A template is now provided as well: %s for the status, and %% for the literal %. Still runs the loop even when the status is not selected though. Customization for the status name is a 'wontfix' for now, since it would cause quite a bit of confusion if the name is changed in between. What happens to the old one? You might have stray saved statuses.
