I don't want to block all auth requests, because some of them are from my friends, but my friends always write something like "Hi, I'm John Doe, remember me?" and not "Hi, I'm Lolita. Look here I am totally naked http://... Is it possible to add an options "Block auth requests with hyperlinks" and "Block messages with hyperlinks from those who not in my buddy list"? It seems the best way to solve this (without blocking users, which I find undesirable) is to block messages based on a regex matching the message contents. I've gone ahead and put together a patch that seems to do what I want. Note I don't have much experience with pidgin plugin programming, and my C is a bit rusty, so there may be bugs/issues. If there are any problems feel free to point them out and I'll be happy to update the patch as necessary. I find that I get a lot of spam using the exact same canned message.
