issue 13 (Blocking authorization requests with hyperlinks) reported by mihail.lukin   -   I often receive spam auth requests that contain hyperlinks. I don't want to block all auth requests, because some of them are from my friends, but my friends always write something like "Hi, I'm John Doe, remember me?" and not "Hi, I'm Lolita. Look here I am totally naked http://... Is it possible to add an options "Block auth requests with hyperlinks" and "Block messages with hyperlinks from those who not in my buddy list"? Maybe even "regex"+text input fields instead of "hyperlinks".

issue 12 (Message filter based on regex) reported by Jenden0   -   I find that I get a lot of spam using the exact same canned message. It seems the best way to solve this (without blocking users, which I find undesirable) is to block messages based on a regex matching the message contents. I've gone ahead and put together a patch that seems to do what I want. Note I don't have much experience with pidgin plugin programming, and my C is a bit rusty, so there may be bugs/issues. If there are any problems feel free to point them out and I'll be happy to update the patch as necessary.

issue 10 (Blocked prvate messgaes from xmpp-muc) Labels changed by ste...@ott.net   -   Okay, I verified this and it's quite bad. Apparently the mechanisms to figure out whether a message comes from a real person or from a chat room are not exposed to plugins, thus I cannot currently see a way to fix this. I'll talk to the pidgin people, though.

issue 11 (Pidgin 2.6.2 + Privacy Please 0.6.0 crashes when right click...) reported by brian.carpenter   -   What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Open Pidgin 2.6.2. 2. Right click on a category such as Friends, Family, Co-Workers, Etc. 3. Pidgin 2.6.2 crashes. What is the expected output? What do you see instead? Expected output is not to crash. What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? Privacy Please 0.6.0 w/ Pidgin 2.6.2 on Windows 7 Professional x64 Retail (from my TechNet subscription). Please provide any additional information below. According to the Pidgin developers, this is a Privacy Please problem and not a Pidgin problem. (http://developer.pidgin.im/ticket/10487#comment:1) I have attached a pidgin.RPT file from the debug build of Pidgin 2.6.2. Thank you.

issue 6 (Block individual users) commented on by ste...@ott.net   -   The latest SVN head can now block individual users again (right-click on a buddy, select "Block (privacy please)"). There is no GUI to manage the blocked contacts yet, but those of you who feel adventurous are kindly invited to see whether this works the way you expect it to. You should see the people you block in your prefs.xml.
