Pidgin Personalbar

Pidgin Personalbar is a GTK plugin that adds a box at the top of your buddy list which shows your display name and personal message. It allows you to easily change your display name and personal message for multiple accounts.

How to get the plugin

For Linux, follow the directions here

For Windows, download the dll file and place it in your purple/plugins directory

• Change the look and feel (bold/underline/font) of the display name and/or personal message
• Change your buddy icon (Currently it just displays it)
• Change your status from a drop down menu

• Add email icon showing number of unread emails in your inbox
