What version of the Facebook plugin are you using? Latest What version of Pidgin are you using?2.5.5 What Operating System (Windows/Linux 32-bit/Linux 64-bit) are you using? Ubuntu jaunty What is the problem? At random, pidgin-facebookchat wont display messages from Facebook Chat. I'll have to login to facebook.com and there might be 1 or two instant messages from a friend that I didn't get in pidgin. It's kind of annoying, as it makes me leave facebook.com open all the time to check to see if pidgin is displaying it correctly. |

It doesn't display the friends as offline or anything, my friends and I can even keep talking, but at random a message from my friend just wont display in pidgin. It happens whether i'm logged into facebook.com or not. |

neuster, we need a debug log of while you're not getting messages that are turning up on the Facebook website. Also, do you have the "show history in new conversations" option check in the advanced settings of the account? |

I have unchecked the show history in new conversations. Also I attached a log onto my previous post, and it happened several times during the log. |

For me, it seems to be worst when my bandwidth use is high, such as when I'm torrenting something. I would assume if that's a main cause that, in a cable network, others' network usage could affect one's connectivity. |

This sometimes happens to me, but the buddy will sometimes pop offline when he/she is online. That's usually when I miss messages. It happens if I'm wireless or not, so it's not a network issue for me, since I have a 10meg connection for my online gaming. |

Well, I miss messages also in the facebook.com, browser may hang up, messages pop up randomly, for example messages are added between already sent and received messages which is pretty annoying feature in instant messaging. If there is a problem also in plugin, I think they relate somehow to Facebook's systems. |
