What version of the Facebook plugin are you using?
i've tried with 1.47 & 1.48 (through terminal)

What version of Pidgin are you using?
i've tried with 2.5.2 & 2.5.4 & 2.5.5 (removing all and re-installing each
version after)

What Operating System (Windows/Linux 32-bit/Linux 64-bit) are you using?
Ubuntu linux 8.04

What is the problem?
now i have pidgin 2.5.4 and if i try to install pidgin-facebookchat through
terminal terminal it replyes "pidgin-facebookchat don't have version
available but is named in another package."
on the other hand if i installa the .deb plugin the installation works
correctly, but the protocol does not appear in the list.
The strange thing is that the protocolo worked good some days ago before
the last update of pidgin.

I have the same problem. Any news about it?

Can you both supply debug logs (Help->Debug Window) by first opening the debug
window, then going to Tools->Plugins, closing the plugins window, and finally
pausing the debug window.

Just copy paste into here, or attach a file.

apparently i do not have any strange error, (i attacked debug file + outpud of pidgin -d)
this time i've tried to erase every file about pidgin and re-install everything with
apt( pidgin 2.5.2 + pidgin-facebookchat 1.47 ) . the result is the same. the plugin
was installed without any warning.

if u need some other infos just tell me how to give u :D

tnx

KatanaKensei, doesn't look like the plugin is loading. It may have been installed
to /usr/lib/purple-2/ instead of /usr/local/lib/purple-2/ can you try moving it
into that directory and see if that works
