issue 11 (Ability to Auto Generate Album Name) reported by and...@aksolutions.biz   -   Describe the feature or function. Please describe a use case, if necessary. When selecting an Album in Picasa, Pressing Coppermine button. Would be great if it picked up the Picasa album name, and automatically selected 'create new album' with this name in it? otherwise - this is great! is the ability to grab album description also?

issue 9 (Getting error attempting to install plugin) changed by adityamooley   -   Hi Brian, Thanks for reporting the issue and coming up with possible solution. But the problem was different. A class file for creating zip archives was moved to a sub-folder in core coppermine and thus the plugin was unable to find that file. I have corrected the path in plugin and everything is back to normal. The solution you have provided also works but it is PHP-5 only and the plugin must work on PHP 4 as well. That's why I am using the functionality coming with core coppermine. Please update your copy and if possible let me know whether its working.

issue 9 (Getting error attempting to install plugin) reported by debri.w   -   What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. as near as I can tell, install latest and greatest PHP along with CPG 1.5.1 along with the plugin source (as by directions) What is the expected output? What do you see instead? I click to Install, check or not check the thumbnails option, and then get an error on line 54 of codebase.php. It would not install the plugin. What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? Ubuntu 9.04 with latest and greatest apt-get of everything there. SVN of CPG (1.5.1 alpha according to pages). Please provide any additional information below. I fixed the problem by editing the code from 54 to 77 in codebase.php with the updated lines now as 54 to 62. I have not fully verified the Picasa side (I have not had time to try to install the button in Picasa yet), but it does allow everything to install and seems to solve the install issue. I think (though I am just guessing), that the issue comes up from changes to the ZIP commands for PHP (though not being a real PHP programmer, this is a guess). I tried to see what you were doing in the creation of the zip file and recreate it according to the ZipArchive commands. I am attaching the codebase.php file I wrote for your reference. I hope this is useful as it made things work for me and I wanted to pass it back as I would never have been able to create this in the first place and have been looking for a good way (like this) to marry a nice client photo app to a good server gallery. Thank you for your efforts. Brian Wood

issue 4 (create new album within upload form) commented on by tranzndance   -   The other Picasa uploaders that I have used (Facebook for sure and Picasa Web, I am pretty sure about) allow the ability to enter a name for an album if it did not already exist. This doesn't require navigating to another page; it's possible just to enter the name in a text field. Part of the convenience of using the uploader is to minimize having to go to the website. With the current work flow, the admin has to go to the gallery in the browser (if the album didn't exist), upload the pictures from Picasa, and return to the browser (through the redirect). If they do the natural thing and go to Picasa first to select the pictures and discover they don't have the album they want, they'd need to go to the gallery in the browser, go back to Picasa again, and end up in the gallery anyway. Could we not do something simple where we let the user enter the name of an album in a text field (independent of categorical organization), and then once they get redirected back to the browser, they could arrange the album however way they want?

issue 4 (create new album within upload form) commented on by adityamooley   -   IMO, the uploader should stick to just one task which is uploading the files to the existing albums. Putting any administrative functionality in that mini IE browser will needlessly complicate things. Also, allowing for album creation goes against the guideline given by Google for Picasa button which says, navigation away from the initial page (other than login) should be avoided.

issue 4 (create new album within upload form) reported by tranzndance   -   Describe the feature or function. This is probably more of a coppermine limitation, but I think that the user should be able to create a new album within the picasa upload form. Please describe a use case, if necessary. I had used a different approach before and created new folders. However, with this album method, if there's no album that the user wants to upload to, they would need to go outside of the form to create the album, refresh to see the new album and then see an error as a result of the form refresh.

It was already listed as Installed, although no other plugin was installed that were in the plugins folder. The button just said "button". 3. uninstalled the plugin to be able to really install it. The button changed to say "Install Picasa Button". What is the expected output? What do you see instead? The plugin should not already be installed before I install it just because I copied it into the plugins folder. Please use labels and text to provide additional information.

issue 2 (Mini browser should retain user's theme selection from CPG c...) reported by adityamooley   -   Currently the pages displayed in Picasa's mini browser does not retain the theme settings completely resulting in inconsistent display of data. We should display the pages using the same theme as user has selected in config. This was previously working when the layout was table based using CSS class *maintable*. Now that we are having div's instead of table the theme's CSS is not getting applied correctly.
