This new projects aim is to deliver a qualified Knowledge Base (KB), mainly based on the phpBB code with certain add-ons. It aims to provide easy installation, uninstallation, updating, configuration and use. To provide this we want to meet users expectations on what to include in the modification. A list of planned features can therefore be found below, as well as a link to our feature request forum.

• Full article database with adding, editing and deleting
• Global permissions can be set for each article action
• Full comment system
• Full attachment support (both articles and comments)
• Moderator module with ability to change article status, as well as private comments to the article
• Administration module with full configuration
• User bookmarking and subscription to articles.

• Full history of articles available, possible with some sort of annonate / diff tool
• All articles automatically generate user specified tags
• Article icons and article types available
• Article rating system
• A RSS feed generator
• E-mail article to a friend
• Export article to word/pdf
• Social bookmarking of article
• Most popular articles
• Related articles using tags
• Request article - lets users write a short description they want a article made into useful for support
• Private articles - lets users select if they want everyone to see the article or reg users or friends or could be private

Mod Demo: A Mod demo can be found at http://kb.softphp.dk/kb.php, it will be updated regularly from the SVN and it requires for you to register. If you just want to test out the KB you can use our test user: test with the password: testing1234

Recruiting! We are currently very much in need of the two following persons:

• A graphics person that can do a few images etc. for the mod
• A stylist, someone to shape up the templates so they look stunning.
