About PHPAskIt

PLEASE NOTE: Development of PHPAskIt has moved to GitHub. This site and associated code uploaded here will stay for archive reasons but will no longer be updated.

PHPAskIt is a question and answer ("FAQ") script written in PHP and MySQL. It allows visitors to ask questions which can then be answered by the site owner.

PHPAskIt 3 features:

Requirements

• PHP 4.3 or higher (PHP 5+ also supported)
• MySQL 4.1 or higher (MySQL 5.0+ also supported)

Demo

A demo installation of PHPAskIt is available - the admin panel can be accessed using the username user and the password pass.

Installation

1. Edit config.php, add your details where indicated.
2. Upload the files, then go to install.php in your browser.
3. That's it!

Please note that PHPAskIt IS NOT licensed under the GPL or LGPL. Google Code does not allow the use of custom licenses and as such these were chosen from the list as the nearest possible equivalents. All parts of these licenses apply EXCEPT:

1. redistribution of verbatim Code is not allowed in any way, shape or form without the Author's express consent
2. no money may be charged for any aspect of the Code, however much the Code has been modified. The Code is to remain free of charge at ALL TIMES.
