Python Code that uses the Python Imaging Library to create an image look-up table that can be used to transform a photograph into a photomosaic.

The example code creates a photomosaic of yours truly from a set of snowflake photomicrography images. The snowflake images are courtesy of The Schwerdtfeger Library at the University of Wisconsin (http://library.ssec.wisc.edu/bentley/).

The loop-up tables that are created sometimes have gaps where nno image was found with the target brightness. We ended up touching them up by hand to get the desired photomosaics.
