UserStreams

At time of writing, Phirehose does not natively support the new Twitter UserStreams (or the beta SiteStreams) at least partially due to the fact that they only support OAuth authentication, whilst the Streaming API supports basic auth.

Thankfully, a helpful user, Jonathan Hill has developed a patch/extension that allows Phirehose to be used to consume User Streams.

Future versions of Phirehose should support both OAuth and UserStreams natively.
