PhoenixRT implements a novel optimization algorithm to compute the intensity maps for a radiation treatment plan. It provides features for:

• importing CT images and defined regions via DICOM
• setting plan geometry
• defining a prescription for the plan
• performing the optimization
• displaying the dose distribution using colorwash, isocurves, and dose-volume histograms
• displaying the resulting beam intensity maps
