Tasks

As always, the goal the main goal is to reduce the number of open issues for Milestone 1.0 and 1.1: http://code.google.com/p/pharo/issues/list?q=milestone=1.1

Objectives

Helping on the 1.0 release and improving the user friendliness should be the goal of this sprint. A number of

  • getting better popup messages: (i) for categories (for example right now this is stupid if you type the name of a cat you just select possible categories so if the cat is not there you have to retype it); (ii) cancel,....
  • Get the reports down on the bug-tracker
  • Another thing would be to get the 1.0 release closer, this would be related to the bugs reported for the Dev image mostly.
  • Pick an issue on the google code bug tracker that seems relevant and fix it.
  • Review code that have been submitted (inbox and .cs files on the issues page)
  • Create a simple welcome workspace for the first release, see e.g. GettingStartedWorkspaces and GettingStartedAbout
  • repackage tests to have a common naming structure and ease unloading
