PortHoleOne

ph1, or phone for short is an on board IDE for mobile in situ development and distribution. Current updating of this site is postponed. Check here for the development facebook group

PortHole

On the high seas of mobile on device programming, the port hole metaphor looks good. The waving of the sea supplies mutual time information to the low bandwidth ITU keypad. The background waves in the IDE include the literal, variable, procedure, list quadrature of the wave. This motion of following the wave persistant within the IDE to find focus and run from the motion of the wave to slide focus makes good use of the d-pad on most reasonable modern devices.

The nature of the environment has the following essential parse features

  • VAR variable access to symbols
  • LIT literal access to strings and numbers
  • PUT code execution, for algorithms
  • () or {} or square brackets, for grouping things

Typing .. will auto replace by a square bracket set.

The intention to use OffsetSymmetricNumbers is a departure from many languages, if not all, but probably all.

The IDE will be built as a Native plugin for AceB FORTH.
