The PGDT is the Prolog development tool set for eclipse, written in Java. This project started as an Honours Project from Carleton University in an effort to learn about parsers, grammars and logic based programming. There is a core component for parsing and understanding Prolog files which can be extracted and extended in any application and there is an eclipse-ui layer which is used to do syntax highlighting, formatting and other greatness in eclipse. On top of that, the project extends (and improves upon) the existing PDT project (EPL 1.0, done by research) to interact with Prolog from Java.

Future work for this project includes code completion, error checking and other goodness.
