Overview

A project hoping to learn more about MonoRail by port the PetShop2 code from WebForms to MonoRail.

The original code came from the Mono project. They had change the PetShop 2.0 web application from Microsoft to work on Mono/Windows and MySQL.

Why?

Basically, I've always wanted to get serious about MonoRail, and figured that the best way to do so would be to go ahead and try to develop an application.

I use the Petshop2 code in a presentation that I have which introduces .NET programmers to Mono. Recently I've discovered a few bugs with the code. I thought that rather than try and fix the bugs, this would be a good time to start learning MonoRail.

Being that is is mostly educational exercise, it seems logical to open the source up, and allow others to comment/see/change.
