issue 375 ([GSDX] Persona 4 texture flicker or gets color or just compl...) commented on by neferite   -   Just tried with EE/VU Clamping mode set to Extra+preserve and even full with no change Did you do the memcard or place/date I posted before or just another location? It does not happen everywhere but looks like a big problem with GSdx, reason why I reported it

issue 375 ([GSDX] Persona 4 texture flicker or gets color or just compl...) commented on by neferite   -   Ok I was wrong, I was getting Gsdx before from pcsx2.dyndns.org and it only have r1406 and r1426 downloads so I got to think there was nothing in between but there was a small fix in r1412, so to be clear r1412 was the last one working correctly This issue should not be marked as Fixed/Closed

issue 500 (Tenchu Wrath Of Heaven strange fog) reported by danileon95   -   [The following is a template to help you fill out a more informative report] Note: Many games do not run yet, or have known problems. Please do not report those games without giving any more information. That means reports like "Game XYZ crashes" are not helpful. Instead try to include as much debug information as possible. The last 5 console messages for example, or if the crashes can be circumvented / fixed by another configuration would help much more. -------------------------------------- 1) Did the game ever work correctly (i.e. not have this problem) on the Official PCSX2 build or an earlier version of PCSX2 playground? (If so, please specify the latest pcsx2-playground or Official revision that last worked.) No.In the last stable version, the game runs HORRIBLE with broken textures, so i´m ussing the lastest beta version, r1888 (I know this is not supported, but the stable version runs horrible with this game), and I have a strange gray fog, as you can see in this screenshot: http://s2.subirimagenes.com/imagen/3700588gsdx20091211215333.png 2) What steps will reproduce the problem? 1.Just go to any stage of the game. The first level is the one of the screenshot. 2.This issue is not noticeable on closed areas 3. 3) What exactly happens when you experience this issue (listing any console errors or screen output you receive)? You can´t se the entire map because of this annoying fog. 4) What version of PCSX2 are you using? On what operating system? Plugins? r1888 beta, Windows 7 64 Bits, default plugins. I don´t use any speed hack. 5) Please provide any additional information below. PC: It´s a laptop: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0 GHz Nvidia 9600M GT 4 GB RAM The game works with fulspeed, not low FPS, and I use 1280x800 resolution with DX9 renderer and Pixel Shader 3.0 6) Attachments. *IMPORTANT!* We have a limited storage quota on GoogleCode, so please keep attachments to UNDER 200k! Do not upload blockdumps! Do not upload MP3 dumps. Use 3rd party image hosts for screenshots when possible. http://s2.subirimagenes.com/imagen/3700588gsdx20091211215333.png

issue 499 (XAudio2 - Audio Expansion is always Enabled.) reported by KrossX3   -   1) What version of the product are you using? On what operating system? SVN 2337 Windows7 x64 Speakers 5.1 2) What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Use SPU2-X with X-Audio2 output mode 2. Load a game 3) What is the expected output? What do you experience instead? Expected would be to have no upmix when the "Enable Audio Expansion" is unchecked. What happens instead, is that upmix is always enabled. 4) Please provide any additional information below. Adding a simple check prior the Switch seems to have been good enough. File: spu2-x\src\Windows\SndOut_XAudio2.cpp, line 284. (see attached file for it)

issue 451 (Captain tsubasa(ntsc-j) whiter screen) commented on by shadow0...@mail.com   -   I thought about that previously and I couldn't find the CRC in the code, neither the game referenced, and for what I know the game was released in only one form with no limited or special editions. The game has lens flare effects but that's only when you look at the sun, I though it could be post-processing like WA4, but it should be only temporal rather than everpresent.

issue 497 (Mizuiro [J]: Gaps triggered after watching FMV) commented on by shadow0...@mail.com   -   Similar problems with Thread Colors, it may be the same issue I was mentioning about in other games, is likely the gaps are there because somehow Texture Filtering is Forced On when using Native res, setting to upscaling with TF disabled makes the gaps go away on the instant. Running or switching to SW doesn't make any difference gaps are still there, still I can't tell if they're broken, or fixed by luck with upscaling and no filtering. http://img204.imageshack.us/img204/1000/27723135.jpg Both of these games were made partially by HuneX, is more evident by the way the FMVs shake in the same motion on the bottom.

issue 494 ([Regression] 18 Wheeler no longer boots, since 0.9.4) commented on by wespipes69   -   I tried 0.9.5 and it was bootable (with all the same settings) but had some missing gfx. Looks like it was already starting to regress at that point - but at least it was playable. So it did happen really more between 0.9.5 and the release of 0.9.6. That probably doesn't help much though. :( Does the log tell you anything? Does the fact that with 0.9.4, it takes about 50 seconds to get to the first screen tell you anything as well?

issue 497 (Mizuiro [J]: Gaps triggered after watching FMV) reported by shadow0...@mail.com   -   1) Did the game ever work correctly? Not to my knowledge. 2) What steps will reproduce the problem? Watching the intro FMV triggers the issue. 3) What exactly happens when you experience this issue (listing any console errors or screen output you receive)? Once the intro FMV ends or is either skipped the output on the title screen and the rest of the game will be corrupted both on HW/SW mode with no changes through swapping. The gaps are just vertical lines. 4) What version of PCSX2 are you using? On what operating system? Plugins? Tested on r2330 (GSdx 2330), Windows XP Pro SP3. 5) Please provide any additional information below. Gunbuster had similar issues on inverse, title came corrupt on default at first, then after seeing the intro it would get fixed. Older versions of GSdx (0.1.4~) as well as current of ZeroGS had these gaps present always in the entire game (by default), meaning it got fixed (GSdx), but as told it can still be triggered. In fact switching to upscaling on newer revs produces the same output, it is possible the gaps are trigerred by some error in the internal resolution logic since the FMVs are displayed on a wide-screen output and the game not, then after changing on the intro it switches back: http://img267.imageshack.us/i/gsdx20091208203539.jpg/ [ FMV / 638x230 ] http://img4.imageshack.us/i/snapsgsdx20091208195536.jpg/ [ Title / 638x446 gaps ] http://img709.imageshack.us/i/snapsgsdx20091208200153.jpg/ [ Ingame / 638x446 gaps ] http://img706.imageshack.us/i/snapssnap002.jpg/ [ZeroGS ] Note that another issue is that the FMV shakes, even on SW or with ZeroGS, it could be related, yet it may not be a plugin issue. 6) Attachments. Mizuiro [J] - Blockdump: http://www.mediafire.com/?uy3mjnmntk2 Once in the title screen don't press any buttom, the FMV should play but only a few seconds are included in the dump, press start to get back to title, it should reproduce the gaps.

issue 314 (Regression: Dual Hearts not booting) commented on by shadow0...@mail.com   -   Now this gets confusing I can't well reproduce the crash, in my case this didn't happen until further check, I just had the non-loading issues where the game remains stuck on a particular screen, neither freezing. I can only reproduce the crash with those GSdx versions by skipping the bios, "Run CD" crashes and "Execute Run" works without crash, this defaults to the wxgui seeming to work fine and the legacy not, which is not true though. (Note that like I said some configuration was preventing this crash previously in my case) Only difference I noticed on older GSdx revs is that they go to 25 fps and then the game remains stuck either on black or white screen, newers seem to just crawl to 5, the first applies to the MC screen were it is equally stuck, plug-out the MCs to test, 0.9.6 boots fine r2186 legacy gets stuck there. This may point to loading in general rather than just one particular screen. --------------------------------------------- Blockdump: http://www.mediafire.com/?3mzztjgjjbn Mash start to skip the intro, should work up to the title screen.

This may point to loading in general rather than just one particular screen. --------------------------------------------- Blockdump: http://www.mediafire.com/?3mzztjgjjbn Mash start to skip the intro, should work up to the title screen.

issue 314 (Regression: Dual Hearts not booting) commented on by blackclaw@gmx.de   -   "Doesn't crash anymore, but the slowdown on that white screen is very peculiar." Sound like the exact same slowdown from the Tales of Legendia introscene on the boat, caused by some weird fog effect in the background.

Prints a bunch of these at boot: ElfProgram different load addrs: paddr=0x005536ac, vaddr=0x00540000 (with different paddr in each). Then after the aforementioned logo,PCSX2 dies. And by dies I mean I can't even quit it properly, have to end task. Forced synchronized MTGS didn't help. Valid bug.

I managed to get past the first crash consistently by enabling the IOPx2 hack. Couldn't get past it with IOPint even with the previous hack on. Graphic corruption seems to not go away with anything used, looks like a core issue but could be an identical GS plugin bug. I've seen those 4 logos about 500 times to test this game :P

SuperVU printed inf vu0 prog f40 once and gave the same output as microVU. IOPint printed psx: Unimplemented op f0004002 (and usual output). Finally EEint makes some DVDreads and even before the logos it simply stops. Looks like a strange error, which might be pretty important
