issue 68 ("XML parsing error" when trying to import.) reported by Leeese - What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. I exported my passwords (did not choose to encrypt). I was using an older version of Firefox (3.0.something) at the time. I then uninstalled Firefox entirely, and deleted all references to it and Mozilla, restarted the computer. 2. I installed the newer version of Firefox. 3.5.3 3. Installed the Password Exporter Add-on for Firefox. 4. Restarted Firefox. I did not reboot at this time, assuming it is/was not necessary. 5. Went to Tools/Options/Security. 6. Clicked "Import/Export Passwords" button. 7. Clicked "Import Passwords" button. 8. Selected my password file "password-export-2009-09-16.xml" 9. Upon selecting the file and clicking "Open", I received an error. The title bar of the error says "[JavaScript Application]" and the error text is exactly: "XML parsing error. Passwords could not be imported." What is the expected output? What do you see instead? I expected my passwords to be imported. :) Instead I see the error mentioned above in step 9. What version of Password Exporter are you using? (Example: 1.1) 1.2 What application is Password Exporter installed in, and what version of that application?
