The project contains the code for the components needed to use Plan 9 authentication in Linux. Currently it includes the Plan 9 capability device implemented as a character device driver for the Linux kernel and the user space PAM module.

NOTE: The driver's code is now part of the Linux kernel starting from version 2.6.30 (http://lxr.linux.no/linux+v2.6.30/drivers/staging/p9auth/). Please submit any patches to the code to lkml directly (the code in this google project is not going to be maintained). All changes will go the kernel tree.
