What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Opening stock music player 2. Selecting individual tracks, shuffling all, playing playlists. Playing any type of audio. 3. First 10-15 seconds the music will freeze and stutter a couple of seconds. Also happens intermittently throughout songs for a brief second or two. What kernel are you running? 2.6.35.10-perf+cm9 mcostea@mcostea #8 It would really help if you could provide a logcat when the problem occurs. * Grab aLogcat: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.jtb.alogcat&hl=en * Reproduce the problem * Open aLogcat and save the logcat * Attach it here I thought it might have been my phone's hardware not keeping up, but I've tried closing unnecessary apps, keeping memory 70-80% available. No change. Winamp plays smoothly. I also noticed that paused music will sometimes start playing on its own after a few hours. Stock music players in stock ROMs and several Oxygen GB builds ran perfectly.

I haven't overclocked and most of the time I have very few apps running, even in the background. I have tried only running the necessary apps for the phone's normal functioning and no change. |
