What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.recive a call, with or without headset, it's the same.
2.push the volume button, up or down it's the same
3.the ringtone and viber turns off, instead incrase or decrease the volume.

What kernel are you running?
standard no changes

It would really help if you could provide a logcat when the problem occurs.

It's supposed to do that...
Picture this... you're in a meeting and your phone suddenly starts ringing. You want to see who called you but it will disturb everyone. Just push the volume button and BAM! phone goes silent. Easy as that. It would be quite stupid for the volume to go up and down since you already have the phone in your hand when you receive the call and you think: "Hey... I've probably gone deaf so let me just pump up the volume to hear it"...
Ridiculous...
