Summary

Business customers who expect VAT-free billing can submit their European VAT-ID on the OXID Registration-Form. This module allows VAT-ID is checked automatically in the back-ground with a central European database for validity.

• The business customer is then able to buy from any EU online-shop equipped with this module without VAT applied
• No manual processing required by online-vendor

Suggested Improvements

1. Show a little red icon on the buyer's profile if the VAT-ID didn't check positive
2. Offer a little form to configure the server against which the VAT-ID's are to be checked

Compatibility
