What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Use the latest Oort, and make a release of FYPO, starting with fypo-edit.obo
  2. I can send settings if necessary; most are defaults; HermiT reasoner. I think that's about it ...

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
It appears that no new fypo-reasoner-report.txt file is generated.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Oort 0.4.0-20130205 on Mac OS X 10.6.8 (installed from the .dmg)

Please provide any additional information below.
I have a reasoner report file from the last time I used the previous release; it hasn't been updated.

    thanks,
    Midori

Thank you for reporting the problem. I have found and corrected the problem in r1148 .

I'll also create a new OORT release for you to test.

Hi,

Many thanks for the fix in the Feb. 28th release -- it is now generating the fypo-reasoner-report.txt file again.

There's just one small catch outstanding: it looks like when Oort moves a release to a /releases/yyyy-mm-dd/ directory, it doesn't copy the fypo-reasoner-report.txt file, so unless I remember to stash it elsewhere manually, I only have the reasoner report from the latest Oort run (in ~homedir/OORT/).

I'd like to be able to compare current and previous reports, and before it broke, the reasoner report got included in the date-stamped release directories.

Thanks,
m

(and yes, I'm a tiny little bit embarrassed that it took me so long to notice ...)

(tangent: and why is googlecode demanding a captcha this time, when it didn't for the previous comment? weird.)

Hello Midori,
I have implemented a new option for the versioning of report files. By default they will not be included. In the OORT-GUI there is now in the advanced option section a new option to include the reports for versioning. It is called: "Version Report Files"

If you use the command-line the parameter is: "--version-report-files"

I just created a new version of the OORT installer. You should be able to test that behavior now.
