missing reasoner-report.txt? #53
Comments
From HDie...@lbl.gov on February 28, 2013 12:00:06 Thank you for reporting the problem. I have found and corrected the problem in r1148 . I'll also create a new OORT release for you to test. Status: Started |
From midori.h...@gmail.com on May 08, 2013 03:58:42 Hi, Many thanks for the fix in the Feb. 28th release -- it is now generating the fypo-reasoner-report.txt file again. There's just one small catch outstanding: it looks like when Oort moves a release to a /releases/yyyy-mm-dd/ directory, it doesn't copy the fypo-reasoner-report.txt file, so unless I remember to stash it elsewhere manually, I only have the reasoner report from the latest Oort run (in ~homedir/OORT/). I'd like to be able to compare current and previous reports, and before it broke, the reasoner report got included in the date-stamped release directories. Thanks, |
From midori.h...@gmail.com on May 08, 2013 04:00:27 (and yes, I'm a tiny little bit embarrassed that it took me so long to notice ...) (tangent: and why is googlecode demanding a captcha this time, when it didn't for the previous comment? weird.) |
From HDie...@lbl.gov on May 21, 2013 16:56:39 Hello Midori, If you use the command-line the parameter is: "--version-report-files" I just created a new version of the OORT installer. You should be able to test that behavior now. |

What steps will reproduce the problem?
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
It appears that no new fypo-reasoner-report.txt file is generated.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Oort 0.4.0-20130205 on Mac OS X 10.6.8 (installed from the .dmg)
Please provide any additional information below.
I have a reasoner report file from the last time I used the previous release; it hasn't been updated.
thanks,
Midori
